Golden Openings website & email design

Challenge

In 2024, Front Row aquired Golden Openings, a grand openings, ceremonoial event ecommerce store that sells supplies for grand openings, groundbreakings, and other ceremonial events.

Our task was to do a complete rebrand, new website, social media strategy and designs, email strategy/design, paid ads and SEO.

Approach

As the creative department, we had our work cut out for us. The website was completely outdated, and the social and email strategies were non-existent. I knew I wanted to create something different—something that actually felt like it was celebrating moments. Because that’s what events are, right? They’re milestones, turning points, reasons to be excited. So I started thinking about how to make the design feel alive and fun.

Once the logo and color palette were chosen, I got to work on how we could bring this vision to life. The client wanted a neon sign aesthetic for the logo, so I had to blend that seamlessly with the updated design direction. I knew the customization story had to be front and center. Collaborating with our multimedia specialist, we developed a simple animation that communicated the concept without impacting load times. Combined with color blocking, flowing wave elements, and neon-style accents, the new Golden Openings website had come a long way. Not only that, it was designed with the end user in mind with responsive design and ux informed decisions.

Next, we tackled the social media and email creative. By using real event photos alongside product-forward graphics and videos, we struck a balance between promotional content and humanizing the brand. Since launching the new strategy, we’ve seen steady growth across all social platforms.
